I sing Good King Wenseslaus in the middle of June.
I crave Italian ice in December.
Because it storms, I eat pie for breakfast,
but sausages and pancakes for dinner.
I have picnicked beneath a table
during a blizzard
and gone mud-sledding in the spring.
The unexamined life might not be worth living,
but by my estimation,
the unspontaneous life half-lived
is not a life at all.
